Sisterhood of the Frogged Stitches

The ladie present the High School Youth group with hats and scarves for the March for Life Pilgrimage 2013.


 

This group loves to knit and crochet! The meet on the first and third Wednesday of every month online via Discord at 7:00 p.m. They provide baby blankets for the newly baptized of the parish, prayer shawls for shut ins and afghans for new Habitat for Humanity homes, and hats for chemo patients (soft yarn only). The group has also provided hats and scarves for the youth group's trip to the March for Life, gloves for the military, and other requests from various community members.  

If you cannot knit or crochet, they will be glad to teach you!

Donations of yarn are always welcome as well.  You are welcome to make items at home and bring them by any Wednesday or call Karen Blumberg for pick up.

CURRENT PROJECTS THEY ARE WORKING ON:  

      Lapghans (lap blankets) for shut-ins (Christmas 2015 project)
      Baby Blankets for Baptisms
      Scarves for Chase the Chill (homeless and needy) given out in November (but they will collect                           all year long)
